BYU-Hawaii, Lynn win DII Titles; Goldstein on Young

Julie Wrege of The Tennis Recruiting Network has all the details on the dynasty that is BYU-Hawaii's women's tennis, and the serious rivalry that is developing between Lynn and Valdosta State in men's DII. I'll be fully immersed in the DI tournaments for the next two weeks, so I'll probably miss most of the drama in the DIII championships this weekend. Paul Goldstein and Donald Young teamed to win the doubles title at the $50K challenger in Tunica, Mississippi last weekend, and the Memphis Commercial Appeal asked Goldstein what he thought of his new partner. Goldstein expressed great admiration for Young's talent and recent improvement and was plenty critical of the way Young's career was managed in the past.

And the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ran this story on University of Georgia senior and Atlanta resident Natalie Frazier, who has helped the women's team ascend to the No. 2 ranking, giving the Bulldog fans hope for two NCAA team tennis titles this year.
